JOY TRAINING

To put it simply, our fast paced environment and culture make it difficult to cultivate JOY.

Stress research is stating that one of the quickest ways to cultivate joy is through movement and exercise.

As you heal, the energy you produce should be directed towards the production of serotonin, dopamine, and adrenaline.

These neurotransmitters, when balanced, create a euphoric and JOYOUS state.

Exercise and movement stimulates the liver to process vitamins and minerals to balance and create proper levels of serotonin, dopamine, and adrenaline.

During times of sickness and pain, the body has built nerve pathways. These circuits are continuously running pain signals that can burn out your biochemistry that is feeding a fight or flight response.

Daily controlled low-level to moderate-level exercise can prevent your body from going into the fight or flight response. It is a prevention mechanism to TRAIN your body for JOY.

I know it can be tough, especially while healing, but keep moving!

As it is written, “Let this hope burst forth within you, releasing a continual joy. Don’t give up in a time of trouble.” Romans‬ ‭12:12‬ 🦋
