SPIRITUAL STRENGTH
Letting go of expectations and demands is key to all points in healing. Especially, the idea that I have the right to EXPECT someone else to respond to me the way I WANT THEM TO. Which…I have no right.
We spend most of our time putting high demands on ourselves and others. And in my world, they call that unhealthy weight.
Reducing this burden can actually be helped by ADDING things to our lives. We can add without creating clutter.
And we do this by practicing:
– Love
– Joy
– Peace
– Patience
– Gratitude
–
These build our spiritual muscles. It may sound cliche but it is not easy to practice these daily.
And these practices we add do not weigh us down, they actually make us lighter.
It’s what we add to our SPIRIT that makes the shift.
When we add these disciplines in our lives, it leads to strength inside that doesn’t run out.
These positive practices quiet the ego, which works at draining your strength daily. Because the ego is consistently wanting you to remain in unhealthy attachments.
Building your spiritual strength gives you a filter. An ability to see what parts of life you and I need to detach from.
Your TRUE SELF can then surrender to GOD/DIVINE to build heaven on earth within you and in all areas of your life.
Strengthening the spirit, increases the spiritual currency of you and everyone around you.
You actually will have MORE ENERGY to invest in others and they in you. This is how heaven comes to earth.
They all require surrender and work. That’s why we call it spiritual PRACTICES.
Remember, the virtues mentioned above never run out. They are consistent frequencies and vibrations found throughout the universe. No joke. They are for us to walk in them.
God gave us the constant vibrations to walk in. We just have to listen.
Focus on these practices as much as you can throughout the day. It can be tiring to do so, but you are training your spiritual strength.
For as it is written:
“But the fruit produced
by the Spirit within
you is divine love in
all its varied expressions:
joy that overflows,
peace that subdues,
patience that endures,
kindness in action,
a life full of virtue,
faith that prevails,
gentleness of heart,
and strength of spirit.
Never set the law
above these qualities,
for they are meant
to be limitless.” 🦋
