YOUR DIET AND TRAUMA

Every night, your body will clean your blood through the liver. The body pools the blood in the liver so that it can attempt to convert all the fat soluble toxins into water soluble. Which means your body wants to make the toxins available to pee, poop, or sweat it out.

All drainage organs need to be balanced to help with trauma: Liver, kidneys, bladder, gallbladder, spleen, small intestine, and large intestine.

Your liver is an organ that creates cholesterol, produces hormones, and detoxes the whole body through phase 1 and 2 detox pathways.

If the organ is congested or sluggish, it can prevent all these functions.

What is a major cause of a sluggish liver….sugar. Excess sugar eventually turns into triglycerides and bad fats. This can clog the liver, which keeps you from producing and recycling your hormones. It all can lead to a imbalanced mood, and brain fog.

Sugar is not bad in itself. You have to moderate it to help you process your emotions. Slow down the sugar and you can process trauma better.

It’s moderation, and it’s tough…but I’m rooting you on!
